Touch a life, brighten a future.
Every month, hundreds of children in San Diego need a home. These children have experienced neglect, abuse or even abandonment, and need the love, care and understanding of a foster parent. Foster care affects hundreds of thousands of children and families and society as a whole. Child welfare issues arise in families of every race, ethnicity, culture, and age group. Infants, children, adolescents and sibling sets are placed in foster care when their parents (or guardians) are no longer able to ensure their essential well-being. These young people need stable, loving care until they can either safely reunite with their families or establish other lifelong relationships with a nurturing adult.
Resource Parents and Families are people who are concerned about the well-being of children and their families.
It takes a community to make a difference in a child’s life! It takes YOU.
